I’m a journalist, writer and consultant based in East London.

In addition to writing about bars, restaurants, wine and spirits as a freelancer, I have more than a decade’s experience working in the drinks business. During this time, I have turned my hand to marketing, copywriting, brand work, content creation, campaigns, communications, creative direction, and even making the odd cocktail.

I grew up around restaurants, worked in bars, studied creative writing in the UK and USA and have worked variously as an editor, spirits advisor and content manager - so all of this was bound to happen eventually. My full CV and portfolio are available on request.
